Golden Gate Park & Ocean Beach Couples Session

Documenting Sophie & Keegan’s Golden Gate Park date was such a precious experience. The two of them were only a handful of days away from braving the “long distance” chapter of their relationship, so it was extra sweet knowing these would be the photos they'd stare at every time they missed each other’s presence <3

Sophie & Keegan met in San Francisco, & were both shocked by how instant & deep their connection was. We’re talking about the kind of chemistry that makes you say yes to dating 8,078.25 miles apart after a few weeks of knowing each other.

Anyone who spends more than 5 minutes with Sophie & Keegan can sense just how perfect it feels that they found each other. They have this affectionate & playful energy while simultaneously sharing a depth and serenity.

The pure emotion & tenderness they expressed made my job as the photographer sooo easy. Although most times I need to offer more direction to my couples, these two were lost in their own little world of hugs & kisses & giggles.

Once the sun had set, we zoomed over to Ocean Beach to capture moody, dreamy blue hour photos!

I personally love a fun motion blur + wild wind moment! The wind was absolutely crazy as it gets late spring, but Keegan & Sophie were unfazed and fully embracing the dramatic windy vibe! The photos turned out more magical than I could have imagined, & I’m so happy they have these visual memories to connect over during their 8k mi long distance journey <3
